It’s been said that a grandparent is “a little bit parent, a little bit teacher, and a little bit best friend” and if you’re lucky, I think that’s true.
For the first few years of my life, I literally lived in the middle of both sets of grandparents…my mom’s parents lived in the house next to us on the right and my dad’s parents lived in the house next to us on the left. I don’t know how much luckier a kid can get than that!
