One thing is for sure…there is no shortage of debate on social media. Especially on Twitter. I’ve rounded up 10 tweets that people had some OPINIONS on, let me tell you.
I thought it would be fun to see where you guys stand on these issues…let me know in the Facebook comments!
Happy debating!

Topic #1: This tweet received over 2500 comments on the hot topic of water LOL…I’ve shared a few of them below.
Why do I never think of things like this?? So smart!
I dump my leftover overnight nightstand water into my plants the next day

I’m guessing she has a cat!
My fiance abandons it if she leaves the room even once… wild lol

Week old water?? No thank you!
A week is usually my cut off, assume it’s a little dusty at that point and always tastes a bit strange

And the award for best comment goes to…
If I’m thirsty enough, I’ll just clench my teeth in the middle of the night to strain out the fruit flies.

Topic #2: I actually would say seven! But other people, not so much…
Well, when it does finally happens, sounds like she’ll be prepared!
Two a day in case of an underpant emergency. Which has never happened.

ONE pair for FIVE days of sitting on a motorcycle?? Nope!
One pair if you're taking off on a Harley ride. Space is limited. Wash in the motel sink if needed. There are some serious over-packers replying here.

Topic #3: Ok, this is something I bet we’ve all encountered at one time or another, judging by the 8400+ replies to this tweet!
The majority of people commented that she should NOT pay the $84…
Hand over $30 and say “This covers my meal and tip.”

She shouldn’t think twice about simply saying, “so sorry, but I am a student on a budget and as much as I wish I could just split it, I simply can’t. I only ordered what I could afford. But- When I collect on my first big case after law school, dinner is on me.”

But of course, it’s the internet, so not everyone felt that way, as evidenced by Nancy’s comment here…
I know this sounds harsh, but if you're not willing to split the check, don't go.

Topic #4: I feel like this subject could start a war! Some people feel that the silverware won’t get as clean if you put it face down, but others say they get stabbed if it goes face up. Also, my brother-in-law once pointed out that if forks and spoons are face up, you are touching all the tops of the utensils when you unload. Personally, I alternate up and down.
I was actually surprised at the results! I would have thought more people load face down…
Let’s make it official:

Topic #5: This one seems to be a generational divide. None of my teens/young adults use a top sheet, nor do any of their peers. But I think everyone over 40 uses a top sheet LOL…
Topic #6: Ok, you would think this one was a no-brainer (who does that??), but there are some crazy responses to this, I’ve put the top ones below…
How strange and completely awkward for that kid!
I once got invited to dinner at a friends back jn high school and his mom served me food completely different than everyone else. She told me I had to earn my food in her house. When dessert time came around my friend asked me to go home so they could eat it.

I think she needs some new friends…
Two very good friends planned a baby shower for me. A week afterwards, they emailed me the bill. For my own baby shower. Which they planned.
— Gaelyn Cokayne (@gaecokayne) March 11, 2022
I imagine it did NOT…
I went to a dinner party with Lobster once and after dinner, they asked everyone for $75 each. It did not go over well, lol
