Though I have lived on both the east coast and the west coast, truth be told, I have very little experience with the Midwest region of the U.S.. In fact, though I had a general idea, I didn’t know exactly which specific states were considered to be the Midwest, so I looked it up.
According to the federal government, the following states make up the Midwest: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.
I have only been to one of those states – Minnesota. When my brother and I were kids, we went to visit relatives. It was January and we went skiing. Within two hours, my little brother was in the ski lodge infirmary with frostbite on his foot.
And that pretty much sums up my Midwest experience LOL.
I will say this, however…I have met some great people from the Midwest over the years. People that are friendly and warm, with incredible work ethics.
Whether or not you hail from the Midwest, I hope you enjoy these 25 funny tweets!
