Growing up with a left-handed mom and also raising a left-handed daughter, I’ve know the struggle is real for the lefties of the world.
I remember when I started dating my husband he asked me why I cut my food with my left hand. It had never even occurred to me that it was odd.
Though I’m right-handed, I’ve never used my right hand to cut food in my life. My mom taught me how to use utensils, so I guess she just placed the knife in my left hand and that’s how I learned LOL.
I’ve rounded up some facts and memes for all the left-handers out there…I’m sure you will relate!
Facts About Left-handed people:
- Only about 10% of the population is left-handed. However, 5 of the last 9 Presidents of the United States have been left-handed, which I thought was pretty interesting.
- Among college-educated people, left-handers earned 10 to 15% more than their right-handed counterparts.
- Men are slightly more likely to be left-handed than women.
- Left-handedness is about twice as common in twins than in the general population.

If the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body, and the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, only left handed people are in their right mind. 😉

I was ambidextrous when I was little and my dad sat me down and told me I had to pick one hand to write with. I chose my left because it had a freckle on it and I've been left handed since😅
