Meet 10 Dads Who Said “No Dogs!” and Then Hilariously Changed Their Tune

I always wanted a dog growing up, but my parents were like, “No dogs!”. So I had hamsters, which, while still adorable, isn’t quite the same thing.

Fast forward to after I leave for college, and my parents finally cave in get a dog for my little sister, who is 16 years younger than me.

Not only have they had dogs ever since, but my dad, very much the introvert, now runs a dog play group with all the friends he made while walking his current dog LOL.

I’ve rounded up the funniest and sweetest posts I can find about all the dads and the dogs they didn’t want.

Maybe this will convince some dad out there somewhere to get a dog!
