I saw an old couple in the supermarket using walkie talkies to communicate with each other from different aisles so you can no longer convince me that we have nothing to learn from previous generations

Took the family to the beach. We spent 2 hours packing, 3 hours trying to get out the door, 1 hour parking and walking, 30 min at the beach and 3 weeks cleaning out the sand

My husband does this brilliant thing where when one of the kid’s toys breaks, he takes it down to the workshop to fix it, and it stays there till everyone forgets about it, and then I throw it away, and no one cries
