Friends, I am Italian on both sides of my family. If you want to talk about food, I’m your girl.
One of my earliest memories is running through the woods in upstate New York with a bucket to pick blueberries for my Grandma’s pies and muffins.
I grew up smelling sauce cooking on the stove Sunday mornings, because at 3:00pm anyone and everyone would stop by to join us for dinner.
Holidays were no joke, with days of preparations and each family member bringing the dish they were famous for.
My brother currently owns three pizzerias (if you are near Orange County, California, go to Sal’s Pizza…it’s amazing!)
